MIKE is the BEST!!! I think the new solo album will be very great!!!
I really love the songs Believe Me & Petrified, they are so great!!!
FORT MINOR is a really successful project!!! I am very proud of MIKE and
the other artists!!! I like it very much!! In spite of it, it's a little
bit unfair to leave LINKIN PARK!!! Lp is so great but only with MIKE is
the Band perfect!!! I would have some new LP material but I look forward
to the new FORT MINOR album!!! I'm sure the whole FORT MINOR project will
be an inspiration for other Bands!!! Good Luck, MIKE!!! MIKE, I love you
sooo much!!!

"Geez, I been waiting for this for a couple years now. So Excited!

so far =P Go, Mike. Uhh Im really excited..."

"I think it's great how Mike isn't drawing all the attention to
himself. He's made it obvious in interviews that it's all about the music
and the other artists and the fans, not just himself. Instead of titling
it Mike Shinoda's, it's Fort Minor's. It just goes to show he's really
about the music, not what it can do for him as a musician. I really respect
that, and hopefully people won't think of this as a "sell-out"
move, seeing as it's quite far from it."

"really thought that this solo album was gonna be perfect for mike,
we feel proud of him, but after those things he said....... "The
reason why we started Linkin Park was because we were waiting for the
sound to happen and it never happened," i think that he's not being
fair with LP fanatics, i think he has forgotten about the 16.000.000 for
hybrid theory. that's not the way to leave the band, we understand he's
a rapper and he deserves some space, but that is not the way to say bye
to the band"

- Just to clarify this, the line you have quoted is not meant to read
in the context it is in. He also goes on to say "so we created
the sound," he is not saying that Linkin Park have not found the
sound that they wanted, he is implying that they were waiting for other
artists to do what they have done (the musical fusion), but no-one did,
so they did it themselves. And also to clarify, Mike is not leaving
the band, he is perfectly happy with the band, and I can confirm that
they have been in and out of the studio recently recording new material.
A solo project is something that Mike has wanted to do for a long time,
and he feels that he cannot show the extent to which his talents go
within the confines of Linkin Park's musical preference. Mike's roots
are in hip-hop and that is why he has done this.

"Mike your solo is going to be awesome...I know it. "Fort Minor"
is a great name for the group of people (including you Mike) working on
the solo. "The Rising Tied" will surely be a very awesome solo
album to remember and many people will love it. Who knows...you may even
gain more fans. Rock on Mike and keep on doing your thing. By the way...I
will also be buying your solo album when it comes out, if you wanted to
know. Heh, can't wait til' the album comes out in late summer!"

"Hey, I think Mike's album is like going to be really awsome. I
could picture Mike working with Motion Man and Switch (fan feedback).
I think it might be released maybe in the Spring. I think the album would
have really good beats and rythms. I would expect a extremely great album
from Mike because he's really talented."

"Yo, merk that ish Mike. I've been waitin since i heard you on "High
Voltage" and "It's Goin Down". Specially on "Nobodies Listenin" You said
somethin i've always been thinkin. I hate my rhymes but hate everyone
elses more. You merk that ish, i'll be buyin a CD. Some wishful thinkin
i want to throw your way, I'm makin a single in the next two months and
sendin it to a couple labels since i got a couple connections now, and
if i get some attention and drop a CD, get on the level status you got,
or near it, I want to work with you on a track if possible. If not, it's
cool, no hard feelins, jus a thought out there."
- Switch
"Hmm this is really interesting for Mike to do a solo album...I'm
sure it will be good, like the old stuff from Hybrid Theory/Xero that
he did. Though, I'm not sure about the other LP fans who don't like Hip-Hop...probably
there will be some rock in it, hopefully heh. Good luck Mike! "

"I think there is nothing wrong with Mike doing this kind of stuffs.(Unless
he will not totally leave LP) I find it cool and I'm getting excited about
it.I was surprised when I heard this because all I know that Chester will
be the one that will go solo. I will still continue Mike and the other
LP guys whatever happens and one thing is for sure, this is another addition
to my record collection.Hip-hop is not really sucking."
- Marco Manipon, Philippines
"Oh, this is a nice surprise! Mike doing a solo-album. Yeah, I'm
definitely looking forward to that record Should be really interesting!"
- arrow
"This should be..incredible, I think, though. Hopefully he'll go
back to his roots.. Dedicated and High Voltage days."
- goldengoaliex910
"Considering the news of Mike making a solo album, even though Chester's
is still just speculation. It wouldn't be suprising to see it come true.
I mean look at the collaborations he's done in the past few months with
"State of the Art" and "Walking Dead", and then Mike
and Motion's "Standing in the Middle". I'm glad Mike is coming
out with his own album, and I'm glad the band isn't splitting. You have
to think of some other bands that have or are doing the same thing. Don
Henley from the Eagles, and George Harrison, John Lennon, and Paul McCartney
from the Beatles did the same things. And I guess the main thing that
Mike is worried about it now that Linkin Park has the fame, he can do
this, and if it doesn't do well (which i think it will do well) he has
LP to fall back on. But opening each band member up to different paths,
and then bringing them back together in LP will show a different change
and more of a range in their music. So in return expect some very powerful
and great music from LP in the future."
- BlueStars1205
"I'm sure it will be good, but I would rather have some new LP material.
but hey, whatever makes him happy, I won't complain."
- Linkinsweden23
- I hope he goes back to his roots like Linkinsweden said! I hope it
will be finished soon! and i also hope that Chaz will bring out a solo
album.
- Hypi
"Im really looking forward to it, especially since Mike said he's
pretty much playing every instrument and is producing it. I hope he puts
that "Enjoy the Silence" type feel occasionaly in the album.
Notice Mike is not saying "SOLO ALBUM." He keeps calling it
a "side project." So its obvious that there is no intention
of breaking up. Cant wait. Good rappers so far too."
